This Atascadero hamlet was discovered by a family traveling along a lovely creek among the oak forest. But the original design of the house wasn’t open or big enough to suit their family and entertaining needs. They inquired of the seller, who had the home custom built in the 1980’s, whom they would suggest to renovate. Semmes & Co. Builder’s Inc. was recommended, as they were the original builders. A collaboration was born as the new owners and Semmes worked together on the design. The owners couldn’t be happier with the results that fit their lifestyle, keeping their energy bills to a minimum.
