One street up from the beach, this sleek, unassuming home sports an elegant, contemporary interior. Remodeled throughout, we updated the wood ceiling, installed state-of-the-art plumbing and light fixtures, a custom curved bar and cabinets at the kitchen, and set a crisp new bamboo floor throughout. New tile and cabinets in the master bath, guest bath and laundry rooms, together with the addition of a large steam shower in the master, provide impressive personal creature comforts.

A custom “Murphy Bed” in the second bedroom allows the space to function as a flex space. It houses a full size bed, which when folded up into the built-in, offers a fold-down craft table. When both are put up, the room serves as a quiet and relaxing yoga studio.

This beach house also received new doors and windows which provide an excellent seal against the coastal weather, while also silencing the neighborhood’s hustle and bustle. In the end, this home has a very modern, yet comfortable appeal.
