With a growing family this couple needed to add to their existing 3 bed, 2 bath home. The most logical way to achieve this was to build up; adding a new master suite an existing garage conversion. One of our first ideas was to remove the existing truss roof in one piece and reuse it on the new second story. This worked out quite well, reducing costs and resource use significantly. The existing conversion area was upgraded and the resulting master suite is luxurious complete with a new bathroom. The suite’s double french doors open onto a spacious second level composite deck that gives a marvelous view to the surrounding mountains.
